Fire at the creek again!
The fire department arrived moments after I did, so I decided to snap some pics ( ;
I just happened by after taking the picture of the LRT track testing on 83rd. I had to backtrack to 76th ave to head home and decided to take the scenic route along 89th (paralleling Millcreek Ravine park). Where there's smoke there's fire.
Speaking with witnesses it was apparently started by the gentleman in pics 2 - 5 with a lighter. He did at least stick around for a bit to lend a hand. Then bolted down the path. The fire department followed up.
The Fire Department is awesome! People are awesome, most.
It would be devastating the damage that could happen to that area.
...kind of a cool infill here, and also that artificial front lawn of the neighbours looks so out of place.
I wonder what its fire rating is, lol.
