New 124 Street chocolate shop sees ‘impressive’ community response as another says a sweet goodbye

While one long-standing sweet shop is saying goodbye to 124 Street, another is celebrating its first milestone.

Carol’s Quality Sweets closed for good on New Year’s Eve.
Delavoye, a bean-to-bar craft chocolate maker, opened on 124 Street and 107 Avenue in December 2023.

Some chatter on Reddit today that Frida's lease was (abruptly?) terminated by its landlord.

2-3 stand alone residential buildings in the corner of 124th / Jasper are needed. There is enough CRUs for the next 5 years once the Cobalt is built out.
