    Stanley A. Milner Library | ?m | 6s | EPL | Teeple Architects

True. Not saying a whole lot though cause half of the examples are just poor lighting and less flattering angles

    Yellowhead Trail Upgrades

I think the only options are the current situation or a full regular intersection. Too much traffic for a regular roundabout I would think, happy to be proven wrong though.

    Falcon Towers | 170m | 44s | Langham Developments | Arc Studio

Propaganda for private businesses, otherwise known as advertising. Considering how much we payed for the arena, this isn’t all that shocking

I can see the crane from my room at night and the blue light is such a nice touch.

    Arc Smart Fare System

I was under the impression that the original arc validators would have this capability but these look better anyways

    South Edmonton Hospital & Health Campus | ?m | ?s | Province of Alberta

A shrinking town and a shrinking county get a new health centre but the city adding an entire Red Deer to its population every two years doesn’t need a new hospital.

    Whyte Avenue Bus Lanes

I’ve heard from multiple people in administration that they’ve decided on curb bus lanes

50 Street Widening & CP Rail Grade Separation

I understand the difference between needs and wants. If you read snowman123's post, they express that urban freeways are part of a network of *needed* infrastructure, and I disagree that an urban freeway into downtown is in any way necessary. But I also personally do not want a multi-billion...

    Capital Line LRT

Yeah just a post-class surge, but nice to see nonetheless. I will say I’d like to see 6 minute service throughout the day (6am - 7/8 pm) since surges like this (often slightly smaller but still significant) happen any time after 11.

50 Street Widening & CP Rail Grade Separation

Ok… we still will never *need* an urban freeway into downtown. That debate was largely settled by the 80s in Edmonton.

50 Street Widening & CP Rail Grade Separation

Wait like… free flow all the way to downtown?

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

If it’s that low I call BS. There’s no way.

    Metro 78 | 23m | 6s | Pinto Properties | Frank Hilbich

Fair enough, I get where you’re coming from. Hopefully they add in some landscaping after construction, I can’t imagine they’d leave it like that💀

    Metro 78 | 23m | 6s | Pinto Properties | Frank Hilbich

I am curious about how Belgravia is to be reflected. Not sure how much time you spend in the neighbourhood but the popularity of the neighbourhood isn’t architecture-based like Glenora or Westmount. The modern style of this development actually reflects the style of many infill homes built in...

    Metro 78 | 23m | 6s | Pinto Properties | Frank Hilbich

Speaking as a Belgravia resident here: this neighbourhood is second only to Glenora when it comes to neighbourhood opposition to development from wealthy residents. They have had the means to stop this kind of thing and have been doing so for a long time, the city has just stopped listening and...

    LRT Safety

I’m exaggerating slightly because I don’t wish to take this completely ridiculous idea seriously. Most people consider traffic deaths and violence to be normal, despite the huge loss of life that it brings, but it doesn’t make me intellectually dishonest to use it in a comparison, it just...
