100% agree. There are many direct flights from Faro, but very few of them use TAP which would make it more of a connection destination if served by Air Canada. In reality it is a horrible choice for expansion from Edmonton except for a travel charter airline like Transat.

Lisbon is having massive capacity issues though… Portugal has been having a moment lately. Why not fly into the south and train north? The thing about the Algarve region though, is that, people see it as a beach destination only, but there’s so much to see and do here off season. Winter here...

I definitely thought those giant white panels were the final roof treatment lol. I’m glad I kept my disappointment to myself now that I see there is small squares going up similar to the rendering. This could turn out very very very nice.
