Not to be confused with the connect centre… confusing.

Thanks for stating the obvious, but these are not your typical bungalow. IF they have separate entrances that allow for a secondary basement suite I don’t see a problem with them being included to attract a different buyer. Is it mandatory for the other townhouses to have multiple occupants...

I agree with you, but to your point, where do you stop? Could there not have been additional units built atop any of the townhouses? Bungalows would be offensive if Edmonton was severely lacking land. This isn’t the case.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Usually when I click on the YEG thread it’s because I want to read about YEG. Why are your posts never about YEG. Can these posts be removed or moved to a different thread? Clearly you thrive off the negative attention your posts draw, but it’s getting tiring.

Im flying heathrow YVR next week. Was hoping it was 380 because I’ve still never been on one, but it’s an A350-1000. Then home from Seattle on 787-10. Your welcome for this useless info lol

I don’t remember anymore for sure, but I think I heard Avenue Living bought this. Hopefully they do a good job not just on the Reno, but attracting decent tenants and maintaining the building. Would be nice to have positive foot traffic in the area. On paper, this should be a very popular...

    Federal Politics

There’s your answer… people ARE stupid enough to believe governing a country is a one man show. It’s such a painful time to follow politics. So many ignorant confidant morons that didn’t give a shit about politics until YouTube or TikTok told them to. I miss the good old days of voter apathy.

I hate street facing parking but I will always defend Manchester square. It reused an existing building (sustainability points), so it was limited how it could be redeveloped as they were working with the existing footprint. It has been very successful (or at least it was a year and a half ago...

    Isn’t Edgar’s site 2 blocks east… not 3 blocks west? 🧐

Biggest point being missed: A carbon tax should make you rethink your lifestyle. Change your vehicle and/or move closer to work. If you live in an old house invest in insulation, new windows, air proofing (I know it’s not called this but I can’t remember the name lol). Around the the time of the...

Street side doesn’t have yards? Are they the only attached garage units in blatchford? The other houses have yards and detached garages with basement or garage suites… makes sense why everything is selling well except this one. Street side is basically small expensive condos without condo fees...

Is there any news on the four lots with potential mixed use? Would be nice to see first commercial spaces here. I think they can be seen in the video just posted.

While the immigrants build wealth and appreciate the opportunities that Canada affords them, whiney Albertan idiots do nothing but complain and blame others for their misery. I left Alberta NOT because of the immigrants who worked their way up from nothing, but rather because I was sick of the...

I lived in a building in Toronto with indoor hot tubs on the 28th floor with lake view. In edmontons climate, indoor would be way more useful. https://www.elizabethgoulart.com/Featured-351.htm

Having a grocery store and shopping centre at your doorstep makes you somehow more car dependent? What am I missing here… I fully agree that blatchford needs better connections. But Kingsway is not the problem. If you look at a map, Kingsway isn’t even directly south of blatchford…
