Hi everyone, The DC2 didn’t go anywhere so we are working with a new developer who took over this site. We’re bumping up the height to up 6 storeys on this new rezoning and have just started working on building options.

All good points. The design still needs DP-level refinements to move forward after rezoning. Also, the developer is not quite lean on parking but is committed to providing parking for residents and limited paid parking for Whyte Ave patrons .

Here is another update on the Varsity project. We presented to EDC on Monday and received a letter of support. As I said earlier, the design has evolved. This is a view looking south from Whyte Ave. This is a view looking north from 81 Avenue.

Happy Friday everyone! The development permit for Metro 78 is finally approved! I will come back to post what is happening around McKernan LRT station. Let's just say we've 2 out of 3 done.
