Interesting that there are no events listed on the venue's website, and no construction update either recently. Anyone have any intel what up with this one?

Edmonton City Centre Mall (Renovations) | ?m | 2s | LaSalle Investment Management

Looks like the last McDonald's downtown, the one located in the City Center Mall Food Court is officially closed and boarded up as of today. Add the Commerce Place McDonalds closure as well recently and now there's a pretty big gap downtown...

109 St. (South of High Level Bridge)

109th Street was renewed in... 2018-2019? However it wasn't much of a renewal - all they did was re-pave all the entire road without changing the design.

    Capital Line LRT

To be honest, value engineering this to cross Ellerslie at grade isn't a poor decision. The major thoroughfare is 800 meters north on the Henday. Heck, there is even Henday access immediately west of where the proposed Ellerslie LRT crossing would be on 135th.

    Miscellaneous

This isn't correct. It is being built south of scona school, in the adjacent field. Essentially 70th ave and 104th Street / Calgary Trail, where the tennis courts currently are.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Whos would've thought the golden era of flying from YEG was SEA 3x daily, MSP 2x daily, ORD 1x/2x daily, IAH 1x daily and DFW 1x daily. Definitely missing most of these....

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

I figured it out! Delta was flying Detroit to Seoul and was flying over the northern portion of Saskatchewan before it was diverted to Edmonton yesterday around 2:45pm. Still unclear why it was diverted for 24 hours.... assuming it was mechanical issues since medical issues will see a very...

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

So I flew in last night and noticed a large Delta Widebody A350-900 sitting at gate 80, which I found very strange! Did some digging today... and its departing this afternoon for Seoul. Anyone have any details? I'm assuming it landing here because of some mechanical issues, but usually these...

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

    I dug into the Flair flight to Burbank flight data out of curiosity December 2021 - 1,512 seats - 371 passengers - 24.5% load factor January 2022 - 3,024 seats - 420 passengers - 13.9% load factor February 2022 - 3,024 seat - 384 passengers - 12.7% load factor March 2022 - 567 seats - 242...

    Milner Building Residential Conversion | 53m | 12s | Westcorp | Kasian

They had the project scoped and got quotes about a year ago and it came back wayyy more expensive than they originally anticipated... I'd expect this to sit for quite some time unfortunately

    The Shift | 113.08m | 38s | Edgar | MCM Partnership

Last I heard southpark was nearly fully leased up for the residential units. Commercial is completely vacant though. A friend inquired and their commercial lease rates are off the charts.

I know people who have move-in dates here for August 1st... It looks far from finished

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Looks like YEG-SFO was quietly dropped by Swoop. Flair and AC are still flying the route.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Yup, Alaska... I'm surprised, I expected it to be a busier route this winter since the US is more vaccinated than many parts of the world, plus I'd imagine flights would be 100% full around the dates that the Oilers are playing in Seattle.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

I've heard that our direct flight to Seattle was supposed to resume mid-October, but has now been delay and won't restart until March 17th 2022 now :(

    Southpark on Whyte | 50.9m | 16s | ONE Properties | GBL Architects

I wonder if they'll move onto phase 2 for the adjacent plot of land on Whyte after construction wraps up. If they don't, I can see that land sitting for a couple of years.

    Bateman Lands Mid-Rise | 34m | 8s | Bateman Properties | Next Architecture

Looks like www.1932bybateman.com is currently dead/offline. I've also noticed that the marketing agency they are using, Intelligence House says they are "Re-positioning to rental" https://www.intelligencehouse.ca/projects/1932-by-bateman/ I'm still hoping this one proceeds given the COVID-19...
