Someone I know that lives in Strathearn Heights complex just informed me that the strip mall at 95 ave and 87 st received their 6 month notice today. (SE corner of proposed project.) Any one hear anything else on this?

I agree. From the renders on Stantec, and JW Marriott, It looked as though they would match the balcony glass to the curtain wall as well. The fact that they did not was a bit disappointing, and gives the buildings a sort of unfinished look IMHO.

I miss the courtyard so much. Especially during covid, we could all still safely hang out and not need to go anywhere else. Mine was the 2nd floor in the bottom pic behind the dead tree.

I got an Ad on FB for this yesterday, and asked when demolition was to start. They replied, "5 to 10 years." Still, won't take my chances.

Does anyone have any new info on this project? Been considering moving into Strathearn Heights from El Mirador, But obviously won't do that if this project is still going forward.

Just received our 3 month notice to vacate El Mirador. We have until the end of June. I will miss this place more than I can say. I imagine it will be coming down shortly afterwards. Good bye El Mirador, it's been a great 16 years.

New tenants have moved in recently, and I just signed another six month lease here. I know that really doesn't mean a lot, but I'm hoping I don't have to move in the middle of winter. No word from the management, but they are always tight lipped on everything here.

I second that. Just look at the state of El Mirador. Disgraceful. I've lived here since 2004, and only minimum upkeep.

The management is still renting suites with a years lease, not sure if that means much tho. As a 15 years long resident of El Mirador, I hope they take their time with this one.
