    Prairie Sky Gondola | 76.2m | ?s | Prairie Sky | DIALOG

It might not be a quick trip, but good luck justifying to the average tax payers another transit project in the hundreds of millions of dollars between 2 destinations already connected in our expensive mass transit network.

realistically the only place it could work in Edmonton would be from Whyte Ave by the farmers market, stopping by the ball diamond, then up the hill to a downtown LRT stop(Churchill). It would need to operate at a very low fare to be successful, but it would solve challenges posed by the scale...

    Stationlands Residential Towers | 90m | 25s | Qualico | DIALOG

I remember seeing on here a couple years ago now that it would be starting right away😂

    Lilac Park | 20.2m | 6s | Westrich Pacific | J+S Architect

Edmonton is already way above the curve in North America for high rises compared to our population. I'd much rather see some of the gaps in the city fill out with 5-10 story buildings over the next 10 years rather than waiting 20+ years for it to half fill with towers.

    The Clifton | 55m | 15s

Top left looks like a built in coffee/espresso machine. I’d imagine the actual build would have a double oven and then the last spot as a microwave drawer. It probably come down to limited options in the software they use for the renderings though, sort of like how they filled the shelf to the...

    Village on 121 | 60.04m | 18s | Nearctic Group | GEC

This one had no chance once the pit next door stopped, the plan was likely to let the Jameson go first. Whoever takes over is still going to be delayed by the pit so it's probably nothing more than a lot to buy and sit on until you can flip it.

    Connect Centre | 56.3m | 16s | ONE Properties | DIALOG

Banquet is more bar/restaurant with games while rec room is games with attached bar/restaurant. If anything is going to kill Banquet it’s going to be that it’s hidden around the corner on the second floor.

    ICE District Phase 2 | 149.95m | ?s | ICE District Prop.

Its pretty valid to be skeptical of more tax money going to Katz. Sure we have a fancy new arena downtown but I know it personally rubs me the wrong way when we payed for a lot of that building only to get charged $30 for a beer and bag of popcorn. I hope there are stipulations in the funding...

Spruce Grove Metro Ballpark | ?m | ?s | Gold Sports And Entertainment

to be fair it seems like a made up term, almost as made up as calling Spruce Grove "Energy City".

Spruce Grove Metro Ballpark | ?m | ?s | Gold Sports And Entertainment

Has Energy City ever been used as a moniker for anywhere in the region? I've seen lots of comments saying it's a nickname for Calgary, but it seems like an oddly made up choice for this team.

ICE District Block IJ | ?m | ?s | ICE District Prop. | Next Architecture

Calgary having a suitable arena for large arena tours will probably bring more to Edmonton. The money and costs in touring the last few years has been tough on the business and Alberta is getting passed over on way more north american tours than its getting because Alberta as a whole is super...

ICE District Block IJ | ?m | ?s | ICE District Prop. | Next Architecture

Most of the performance spaces we have are set up for specific purposes (Theatre, symphony, sports etc.) so the overlap between a new venue and the ones we have already shouldn't be too big.

    The Jameson | 53.95m | 17s | Open Sky | Acton Ostry

Quite a few boards are in the process of falling out or are broken. I know nothing about shoring but I can’t imagine it can safely be kept how it is for much longer

    The Jameson | 53.95m | 17s | Open Sky | Acton Ostry

The silver lining is that the sites condition is getting so rough that we probably only have to wait a few more years before it collapses and fills itself in.

    Beaumont Real Estate

I remember reading that the main reason Edmonton wanted to annex as much land towards Beaumont as possible is because of their questionable zoning and planning philosophies

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

Sounds like it has. Seems like it’s the right choice, would you rather have a cold for a week or food poisoning for a day? They just need to get the work done.

    Miscellaneous

Residents in the area of this large lot just north west of macewan were sent notices by the city that Westrich is applying to subdivide it, the limited plans I saw in a friends notice showed the footprints of 3 buildings that are likely typical 6 story builds
