I used to work in this building around that time and it seems there was a series of nightclubs in that downstairs space with different names, some which did better than others.

However, now that the downstairs space has been mostly abandoned, I feel the best space for a club or bar would be the bank space itself on the main level , which is actually a much nicer space.

I have seen picture of the older brick exterior of this building and it looks so much nicer than the siding. I hope they can go back to the brick and fix it up.

Something on a different site triggered a memory of going to bars in Edmonton in the early 90s. Wasn't Chase downtown, in a basement, with a dress code?

And am I the only person who survived going to Rock City? A girl I worked with loved that place. My only memory of it is that there either weren't seats on the toilets, or they were so bad you were scared to sit on them.

Chase was in Scotia Place, now known as Rice Howard Place.
I know because I was there many weekend nights during the early 90s.
