"If my grandmother had wheels, she would have been a bike."This redevelopment was considered a 'parkade' not temporary surface parking. It's not ideal by any stretch.

This was issued a development permit, what is reporting it going to do?Getting reported the same way the same way Arlington did. Sorry O, but rules for thee but not for me when it comes to making a quick buck is laughable.
DO NOT APPROVE A DEMO PERMIT UNTIL A BP IS IN PLACE...I REPEAT, DO NOT APPROVE A DEMO PERMIT UNTIL A BP IS IN PLACE
We Charlie Brown fall for this every single time. I know this is Westrich but the last thing we need downtown is another another demo'd building with promise to develop, then end up with an empty lot for the next few years until 2025 but 2025 comes and the market still is not conducive to development. How many more times do we need to not protect the community from the downside? Fix the process.
Should have been more clear, reporter to the relevant councillor as well as those I know with The City who are looking into it.This was issued a development permit, what is reporting it going to do?
I gotta admire the creative ingenuity of this lol. This redevelopment was considered a 'parkade' not temporary surface parking. It's not ideal by any stretch.

In my mind parkades are enclosed and usually multi level. This has a few walls, but seems a bit short of that. However, perhaps the main concern was preserving the street facing facades which was done.I gotta admire the creative ingenuity of this lol.
Yeah, I'm guessing the reasoning was something like "if the cars are hidden behind a wall, it's not as bad as a normal surface parking lot."In my mind parkades are enclosed and usually multi level.
