    The Jameson | 53.95m | 17s | Open Sky | Acton Ostry

It likely won’t collapse to catastrophic failure but it will likely start sluffing in at some point. Those boards get old and start breaking There are ways to reengineer and salvage the shoring but the last hole I know of that was like this, it ended up being cheaper to fill it up and start...

That pit is going to be a hard sell. The shoring has an expire date even if it’s monitored. It’s more than expired now. The only way to do this project now is fill the hole and start over. Not cheap so will have to be factored into the sale price of the land

I can confirm that maclab has nothing to do with this tower. It is a local developer though

The problem with selling a site with an open pit and expiring shoring is the cost can be a killer if they need to do shoring repairs, also they are now limited to what they can do based off the shoring designs. Not an easy recovery. Also... It was pretty obvious this site would eventually go...

And I look forward to seeing you're next building where you've built way in from the property line and the most beautifully landscaped lot. Let me know when it's complete so I can bask in the beauty

Excavation was complete when Pagaro took over. You can easily go back in the thread history and see that. Again spouting without knowing any facts or taking the time to care about it. You seem like you just like to complain and think you have all the answers

You don't make any sense. The building is on property line. The sidewalks are city. The developer built to what the city wanted on city property. The trees that were suppose to be planted on the south side walk was turned down by epcor. Why don't you tell us all what this developer...

There is landscaping to be done near the alley on the west side

It is city property, they didn't want to be responsible for the maintenance, which the developer offered to take care of but it would have automatically gone to the city regardless

Minimum wasn't just a sidewalk as many people have mentioned previously. There were plans for trees along the sidewalk. Epcor said no due to their power lines running under the sidewalk for multiple reasons. There were also plans for a bunch of planters to which the city said no. So maybe...

CMHC funding makes it really difficult to then go find a private investor for more money............
