I noticed that new access causing some traffic issues. It's a pointless duplication of 103 Ave, and it's kind of blind because there's street parking, so vehicles are creeping out to try and make turns.

Lifting a house would be trivial. The cost of doing so would be prohibitive. Someone with more knowledge can chime in whether a house is built to withstand wind at the top of a tower.

I hope the elevated pathway looks better in execution than it does in the renders. Gives a "construction path/hoarding" vibe in the pictures, like it's temporary.

So nice to see some colour being used in new construction. For an often-dreary winter city, we sure do like our drab palette. This is a welcome change. Looks great!

CRUs should be spread out and not concentrated. The empty ones are in places where they aren't needed.

This should have a couple CRU's and be 10-12 stories minimum. Low-rise in the heard of dowtown is a fail.

Who owns the parcels south of Epcor tower? Curious to know if there's any development plan for those parking lots.

Delta and Coast both need a little love. At least externally, as I haven't been inside either in a long while.

Simons exists which has generally eliminated any need or desire to visit The Bay. The Bay shopping experience isn't competitive, at least at any locations I've been to.

    ICE Tower

Dude, this is Edmonton. Up until about a decade ago 100m was an "ultra tall". I doubt we'll see anything come close to taking the crown from Stantec anytime soon. Sure sure, some on here believe the white picket fence company will do it but back in reality we're likely going to see a lot of 30...

    ICE Tower

While exciting, it's kinda sad that the one corner on that intersection with a decent looking, functional building could be the first to be redeveloped.

By my count they're about half way up? North tower is 35 stories and I'm counting 18 (16 floors + 2 podium)?

This seems like an odd location for subsidized rentals when there are unlimited cheap walk ups across the city and vacant land to build new ones, and this location would be prime for some fresh lofts.

Edmonton has far too many "luxury" 1-2bdr apartments, and damn near no "modest" 3-4bdr apartments for families and WFH. Doesn't surprise me that there's low demand for the fancy stuff.

    Falcon Towers | 170m | 44s | Langham Developments | Arc Studio

I wouldn't be opposed to the less than luxurious look of Langham's properties if they at least had 3 and 4 bdr units for families who are open to living in MFH and want to do it relatively affordably.
