People who work in the area. People who don't have access to a car. People walking to grab lunch while working. Someone who takes transit which stops 500m from their destination who's maybe mobility challenged and can't properly navigate the complete lack of infrastructure there now. Etc, etc...

Disappointing, but entirely unsurprising. On the note of Calgary Trail / Gateway Boulevard. It needs to be an absolute priority for the city to add sidewalks to the stretch between 51 Ave and Whyte Ave (ideally everywhere, but that stretch for absolute certain). Embarrassing.

There was a significant fire on the upper floor / roof of the building this morning. Really hope it can be salvaged, you hate to see any fire but especially on our limited heritage stock left.

Selling plots as a 99 year lease instead of actually owning the title is an interesting choice. Probably nothing to be concerned about as a buyer now, but those buying closer to the end of the lease might have some reservations (but that's a problem for long in the future).

Luckily "just" hit some parked cars. For those in the industry, how does an issue this big happen to a tower of this stature? Is this just bad material, shoddy labour, a combination of both? This needs to be fully fixed ASAP...
