I appreciate the big balconies. However the building may have an extra unique aesthetic after it's fully occupied, once the tenants have fully furnished the balconies with their belongings. Such large balconies with glass railings will ensure everything is clearly on display.

Given how much trouble we've had getting transit oriented development off the ground here, it's not surprising that the planning team would try and focus the TOD growth onto only some of the stations. There's so many parts of town with lots of "potential" for densification, but clearly not...

For one person living alone this unit would be fine enough, but I would hate having a guest over because they would have to cut through my bedroom to go out to the balcony.

They don't even have to go to Asia (though they should). The experience of taking transit to malls in Vancouver alone is entirely different, taking the train to Metrotown is worlds different, even driving to Metrotown feels better than driving to West Ed, it's so jank feeling outside.
