The development permit for the multifamily across Alpha Blvd by the same architect was just approved recently, correct? I wonder if they were working out the kinks on that application before submitting these? And hopefully that is a sign that there won't be too many issues on these?

On this, I understand there are serious code issues in the way of anything happening with the tower beyond making it pretty on the outside. Maybe not impossible to bring it up to code, but pretty close...

The ATCO trailer is there for this development - it is not for a separate apartment building. But very cool that this one project is moving along!

One note: I believe it is Encore that is already building on some of the blue areas where the infrastructure is not yet finished. For townhome plots, the builders are now pushing the city to move faster instead of the city begging for builders to come in.

My take on these listings? Streetside convinced the city to change the zoning rules to allow 14-foot-wide townhomes and probably had a hold on these lots but their sales have flopped so they are pulling back from Blatchford. Hopefully another builder can step in here!
