We went yesterday to a tour in The Maclaren. At the end of the tour, Edgar had set up the renders for The Mercury Block. They were responding questions and overall everyone was happy with the concept. Something they mentioned is that they wanted to create a word of mouth name for this area, now...

I found this one in my walk the other day... it is crossing the street from the renos that were being done also in 118 (I'm not sure if it has its own thread or just here somewhere).

They were competing as "CARIBE COMMUNITY BAR & RESTAURANT", I'm not sure if they're still going with that idea, or just as Avila Arepa now.

We heard the rumor that Avila Arepa was taking the location.
