    General Infill Discussion

I wonder if one of the residents' worries when talking about "character" is not only density but style. It's not a secret that they have been tearing down some properties to redevelop them, and most of the new houses have an ultra-modern look, that doesn't fully fit the historical vibe the...

    Riley's 108 Street Redevelopment | 20.2m | 6s | J+S Architect

I personally like the size, I agree with the idea that we cannot have all towers and this will make this area more desirable, opening the opportunity for more interesting developments. I think if there were something I'd change is the materials, I know this is only a render and I hope to be...

I think it's a bit soon to tell... I'm more curious to see if/how they will proceed with the pattern on the sides. These sides (front and back) are TOTALLY made by the balconies, so far I'm happy with that cladding (it is going in the background anyway 😉)

TBH I was way more excited about the infrastructure around it than the tower itself. Some CRUs closer to the river valley (with river valley views) would be game changers and an awesome tourist destination.

interesting, I have so many questions... that's only if the building wants to be certified? who determines that? the city? what about other buildings like Eleanor tower, or the View? those seem to have a good portion of glazing.
