I feel it is also designed for places more pedestrians than in Edmonton. So if it doesn't work here, it probably doesn't make sense...

I think that scramble crosswalks seem to work at moderate traffic locations. Whyte/Gateway has heavy traffic in all directions.

Still think they could have compromised by keeping 105 st scramble.
