O-day’min Park (formerly Warehouse Park)

Well I do really hope something good happens with this property. The one thing that I would be really sad to see is if BP's shuts down and nothing happens except the building sits empty and doesn't go anywhere, which is something that tends to happen here in Edmonton.

I found it surprising this location lasted as long as it did with the newer Edmonton Tower location only a few blocks away.
Yes, it was fairly close. They probably just kept it open until the lease ended. I think they should consider a location further west somewhere on Jasper Ave, so not as close to the Edmonton Tower one.

Yes, I feel the layout needs some reworking, but it could be a good downtown spot for some other popular restaurant franchise that does not already have another downtown location several blocks away. That list is fairly long.

please no 6-storey woodframes on Jasper ave, i beg you.

As others mentioned, would be a good spot for the park to expand with an actual formal beautiful entrance from jasper avenue, (imagine!)

Alternatively, i wouldnt mind seeing some well designed park pavilions that could host restaurants etc... Or just some good old fashioned well designed residential towers with proper podiums, like the parks, with park facing CRUs and such

Well no high rises being built nearby on empty lots, so tearing down a perfectly functional building here in the hope of something happening would be a mistake IMO, but the kind Edmonton seems to keep on making again and again.
