It looks better, but I'm not sure I get the point for all of this effort. If it was meant to provide shelter, the roof probably should have been a bit lower and maybe partly glassed in on the north side.

They could have maintained a lay-by lane for that on Jasper Avenue if they had coordinated things better design wise and construction wise. That would also have meant they wouldn’t have to cross the pedestrian path/take up the pedestrian path for that.

How about a full reno of the older parts, a new Hall E about the size of D with a green roof and destination restaurant overlooking the valley with giant patio for conferences and a new hotel on the NW directly connected.
