Edmonton music concerts

For those that want to have a good time and listen to some excellent music check out https://bandjam.ca/. Four bands from construction companies and all proceeds are going towards mental health. Spouse and I went to the past one at Starlite a couple of years ago and it was awesome. Lots of development and construction people there too.

August 26 at Commonwealth Stadium

Great for Commonwealth, but I'm a little surprised they're attempting it without tour support. Their last show at Rogers two years ago was about the right size for them at this stage of their career. (The last stop at Commonwealth in 2017 was an epic three-hour performance, though.)

No offense to Johnny and the boys but can they sell out Rogers at their age? Saw them 25 years ago at the Jube during their "Boy Named Goo" hey day....good on them though.....
This will likely be a partial arena set-up, not full arena. Katz and Live Nation are taking all of the mid-range concert business away from Shaw / Expo to Rogers.

Yep. The Tea Party, Headstones, and Finger Eleven are playing Rogers on Friday. You can check the ticket map on Ticketmaster to get an idea of the setup, but this is definitely one that would have likely been at Shaw or Expo in the past. The stop in Calgary, for example, is at the Grey Eagle Event Centre.

What does that mean? Your support? As in “no opening band?”
