Man, if people were pissed with The Emerald site, BMO's site and 121 West, imagine if this was stalled? Regency would be run out of town
I read they wanted to add more apartment units to the approved plan but Edmonton city council was having none of that. I am lucky to be facing the right direction fifteen floors up.Thanks for posting these great pictures! When I work at the Bonnie Doon location, I make sure to check the tower from the mall parking lot. I honestly thought that work stalled after Regency's application was rejected; the facade looks hasn't changed much and I didn't notice the additional floors. It's great to see that this is progressing still![]()
It will be worse, because it's 25 stories tall in an area with mostly walkups and single family houses it'll stick out like a sore thumb. This will be another 121 street. A horrible eye sore for decades.
I honestly hope this is the only tower they build and get out of there. And downtown in general, forever. It will be worse, because it's 25 stories tall in an area with mostly walkups and single family houses it'll stick out like a sore thumb.

And then nearby is the Bonnie Doon Mall project. It will be worse, because it's 25 stories tall in an area with mostly walkups and single family houses it'll stick out like a sore thumb.
Glad those eyesore townhouses will be torn down at last along 85th Street. Thanks for posting these great pictures!
