Thanks for posting these great pictures! When I work at the Bonnie Doon location, I make sure to check the tower from the mall parking lot. I honestly thought that work stalled after Regency's application was rejected; the facade looks hasn't changed much and I didn't notice the additional floors. It's great to see that this is progressing still

I read they wanted to add more apartment units to the approved plan but Edmonton city council was having none of that. I am lucky to be facing the right direction fifteen floors up.

Did EDC have some comments on this design? This building is a joke. I am so glad City. Council did not agree to an expansion of the project.

I just don't get the architectural decisions on this. It's one thing to use cheap and simple materials, but it's like they're actively trying to make it look at tacky as possible.
