The crane was taken down a couple of weeks ago, and cladding is now almost complete at the uppermost levels of the Dub Architects-designed building, which is bringing 179 residential units to the downtown core.

Back on the ground, the hoarding has also been dismantled, providing a better look at the podium of brick, Tyndall stone, and glass, and how it integrates itself with 103 Street and 102 Avenue.

The podium is bringing up to 4,000 square-feet of retail commercial space to the intersection, as well as up to 9,860‬ square-feet of office space.

At 43 stories and 138 metres tall, Encore currently holds the title of Edmonton's 5th tallest building, and while Sky Residences and The Legends Private Residences rise higher atop Stantec Tower and the JW Marriott respectively, Encore is Edmonton's tallest primarily residential tower (the other two are mixed-use).
