Two months since our last look at the progress of Pangman Development's The Augustana, and the building is now making a big impact on the city skyline from a number of angles, as seen from photos taken by our Forumers.

Now standing at approximately 26 stories tall, the residential tower has about 4 floors remaining plus mechanical levels before topping off.

The DIALOG-designed tower is rising from the corner of 99 Avenue and 107 Street in the heart of the Government Centre district, bringing a much needed injection of 240 residential units and over 6,000 square-feet of retail space to an area of predominantly offices. The site was formerly home to the Augustana Church, for which the project is named.

Looking more closely, insulating cladding and windows can be seen rising quickly along with the tower, though the final exterior materials have yet to make an appearance.

At the current rate of construction, the tower should top off before the end of the year, with completion slated for 2020.
