A suburban patch of southwest Edmonton will receive a taste of highrise urbanity when Signature Tower, a 16-storey building by Westrich Pacific Corp., hits the scene. Advertised as "Windermere's tallest building," the tower will join its older and recently completed eight- and 12-storey siblings, which altogether comprise the Signature condominium complex in the area's Ambleside community.

The first two phases, which employ stepped profiles to maximize views of their natural surroundings, are joined at the base by a three-storey glassed-in lobby. The terraced shape of the development permits a stronger focus on exterior spaces and amenities, including a large patio area overlooking the adjacent pond.

The 123 units inside the third tower — offered in floor plans from 821 to 1,177 square feet, with balconies adding more space — will be equipped with laminate flooring, stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, and flat-panel cabinets. Largely clad in glass and acrylic stucco, the exterior will be similar in style to its predecessors. A photo update on our Forum shows the fenced-off site populated by heavy machinery, aligning with Westrich Pacific's proclamation of a January construction start.
