A year since we last checked in at Falcon Towers by Langham Developments, and the latest renderings of the two-tower residential development show a reduction in height and a sharpening of style. Having come down in height significantly since their debut, the towers will now stand at 38 and 43 storeys, with 296 and 356 units respectively.

To be known as Falcon One and Two, the shorter of the two towers will be built first, with sales having already gotten underway. Located at the corner of 104 St NW and 100 Ave NW in the heart of downtown, the Falcon Towers will join a small but growing collection of similar projects, including Encore Tower, which have opted to make the city centre their home.

Just south of Jasper Ave, and situated between the downtown core, the Government District, and the River Valley, Falcon Towers will be a prime address for those looking for tower living with a neighbourhood feel. Close as well to transit, and walking distance to the aforementioned Jasper Ave corridor, Falcon Towers will more than likely attract a mix of urban professionals and young families.

Set to be outfitted with a common, two-storey podium base with retail at grade, Falcon Towers will add their own significant contribution to the local streetscape. Furthermore, as the future home for upwards of 700 residents, the project will make for a fine addition to downtown Edmonton.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
