After breaking ground in the spring of 2019 - and much preliminary utility work - CapitalCare's new Norwood continuing care centre is now well underway. Foundations are being formed for the massive new facility located at 111 Avenue and 106 Street, near Kingsway Mall and the Royal Alexandra Hospital.

The Y-shaped footprint of the building is becoming apparent in the groundwork and concrete forms being laid for the 40,000-square-foot building, designed by DIALOG.

When complete, the new facility will offer continuing care and post-accute care for patients, reducing pressure on emergency visits and inpatient acute care services.
