From the people who brought us the Fox Towers, Langham Development Limited's proposal for what will be known as Falcon Towers, is sure to capture the imaginations of local urban enthusiasts, the "twin" 49- and 64-storey residential towers to occupy a surface lot at the corner of 104 St NW and 100 Ave NW.

Set to bring a grand total of 700 units to the area, the two-tower proposal would represent introduce a significant amount of density into the core, thereby continuing the urban renaissance kickstarted by the nearby ICE District.

Replacing a long-standing surface lot, the Falcon Towers as proposed would also add a great deal of retail space, to be spread across the podium levels of each structure, which would have frontage along both 104 St NW and 100 Ave NW.

Located just a block south of Jasper Ave, and thus as well from Bay/Enterprise Square LRT Station, residents will be well-situated for easy access to the city centre, Rogers Place, the ICE District, and many other downtown landmarks.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
