For what it’s worth, we were at the Winspear and the LRT didn’t interfere with the music, or the espresso machine!

How would that be warranty? Warranty is to fix defects, not some idiot driving into the side of it.

I saw another close call in downtown today when a car turned in front of a moving train on 102 Avenue. I don't think opening that road to cars was a good idea.

This is not excusable! I can KINDA get my head around something happening close to the front of the train, when it's something like a very close call and you can blame someone for thinking "there was enough time" this was dead on the middle of the train, you can't blame it on lack of signaling or anything.

Valley Line Southeast LRT testing reaches "warm-up" phase
Testing for the Valley Line Southeast LRT has now reached the "warm-up" phase, which means more trains are running along the tracks, TransEd has announced.

They are going to have to install crossing arms to protect the trains. I imagine the cost to repair a train is much greater than the cost to repair a truck and there are a limited number of trains. I appreciate that they want it to integrate into the community as much as possible, but at the end of the day, Transed and by extension the City, need to protect their assets.
