The elevated guideway near WEM always gives me Skytrain vibes. Excited to see the west leg complete.
I’d love to see crossing arms south of whyte if it means we can up the speed though. It doesn’t beat buses/driving enough imo. That’s a huge sell for trains oftenThankfully they at least elevated at most of the right places. Overall they did not bad on the south part, with maybe one exception at 82 Ave.
Yeah, I get the allure of urban LRT in Streathern and Bonnie Doon, but past Davies what's the point if it's the only remotely 'urban' thing about 75th/66th. South of Grey Nuns it makes more sense if we do see redevelopment of MWTC.I’d love to see crossing arms south of whyte if it means we can up the speed though. It isn't. My employer moved right after the route was confirmed. We had also out grown that location but we could have moved just across the street into a bigger building but they choose to move all the way to 34th street.I think LRT might not be that popular in SE Industrial.
That would be nice. Actually it would be cool if some company could establish offices near Davies so we could see a possible reverse flow of people coming to the area during the day.I'm guessing there will be more commercial development along 75 Street and near WP Wagner school.
