Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

Here is my prediction. Time and money will be spent on figuring out the effects of completely shutting down major intersections. Meanwhile the construction schedule is up in the air somewhat. Information comes back that traffic will be a gong show. We go back to the original plan to keep traffic moving during construction.
I might be totally wrong but if intersections are totally closed down, there will probably be even more complaints about construction and minds of those in power will be changed again.
Let's try and have the resources needed to complete the current plan and do it, not change tack halfway through.
Just my thoughts and like I say I could be totally wrong :)

People said the same thing before transed closed 95ave…. At the end of the day city administration doesn’t really care

My biggest complaint is the lack of quality in the temporary paving they do as work progresses and changes sides. Seems to me it's no more difficult or expensive to do the job correctly. The paving as is, and if you drive these sections you know, bone jarring and vehicle damaging.
