Checked out Mercury Block today and wandered around the courtyard area. I have to say this is really well done and I can already envision this area being quite the spot come spring/summer. They did great nabbing a couple high profile local eateries and I’m hoping they manage to find some good tenants for the rest. I can really see how this has the potential for an impact similar to OEX.

I love how cozy and neighbourly while still dense and full of activated spaces this stretch of West Oliver along 102nd is becoming. Plus the added density will hopefully solidify 124th Street even more.

Based on how many locations they have in total, I’d imagine this is a new one? But not positive sorry. Don’t they have like 9+ already?

Oh yeah, then they have Kelowna and Calgary too. So 7 total I think.

And they franchise.

Location is quite advantages for that.

It looks like one of the retail spaces facing the courtyard is now pending. Any guesses / ideas what it might be? I would personally love a poke bowl restaurant

Unsure, but I'd love to see a great food/cocktail bar in 700+800.

Imagine something like PIP.
