I'm assuming these will be aluminum clad pvc windows, and going to a punched window over a full window wall wrap would be a cost savings. Also likely getting better performance.

Maybe Edmonton House doesn't want to see your drab abode either, ha ha, JK. This old girl was our tallest apartment tower for 50 years until Encore, so it might be feeling a little sensitive...

Haha mine at least has a decent ratio of concrete to glass.
My biggest issue with Edmonton House is it's prominent location in our skyline. Plop that tower down within a cluster of other towers a few blocks north or west and I'd be more accepting of it.

It's a classic Modernist building that at least isn't a rectangle/square shape (I live there btw). The accent lighting definitely helps!

From a high-rise perspective this was Edmonton's first venture away from "the norm" -- kind of iconic and prominent on the skyline -- not cheaply done.
