The Standard Life food court at Jasper Ave/104 St has been dead and vacant since COVID.

ATB Place food court has been mostly dead except for about 2 stalls, also due to COVID. It likely doesn't help matters that they insist on locking the lower level south entrance.

Haven't been to Canada Place since 2018, but I do remember that their food court was almost dead.
Yeah for some reason COVID sure seemed to put a real damper on hanging out in the food court and in going downtown too, but it seems to be very much in the rear view mirror now.

The renovated Commerce Place one seems to be doing ok and the also fairly new one in City Centre too. Interesting to see Williams Hall finally moving ahead and the Scotia main floor food space almost complete now looks promising.

“Ryan Financial Services” out of Dallas, TX is taking up the 24th floor?

While I recognize that pigeons are difficult to deal with, unsightly and make areas disgusting, I am amazed that Stantec's global HQ and their property manager does not deal with it versus leaving their corporate social space looking like this.

Odd.

Just add it to the list of grievances in terms of how Connect Centre/Ice District Stage I is evolving.

I am happy with Loblaws though - certainly feels busier as time goes on and an important feature that was promised and delivered.

Happy for Oilers store and Henry Singer (although the clothing store doesn't have much presence).

Commercial Final
To construct Interior Alteration to an existing office tower. Create 3 new CRUs with two(2) 1HR demising walls and changes to the main floor lobby. Tenants fit up requires separation permits --Stantec Tower--
120, 10220 - 103 AVENUE NW
Would this the space formerly occupied by Rexall?

well any addition into the podium will be nice. It's surprising that this podium hasn't completely filled and stayed filled by now.
Yes, it seems to be filling gradually one space at a time, which I suppose is better than not. In a few years there will be big companies kicking themselves for being to cautious and not getting in here while they could.

OK its been a few yeas so I guess I can post this now. Posted without the Music.

Thanks for sharing.

Seeing these photos still makes it hurt that an observation deck was never added as the vast majority of Edmontonians will never see what the view is like from the top.
