@Das Ponto And it's all for cars (at this point). The size of this parkade is unreal, and don't forget the entire area under the old Greyhound and the now-closed portion of 103 St. is also going to be an expansion of this parkade too.

No kidding, gotta laugh at the number of people who complained about parking for the new arena.

When cars eventually shrink to half their present size, the parking structure will double in capacity!

@archited Double the capacity, double the traffic!

@Daveography yes, but they will take up less space and they will mostly be electric… maybe we can carve an extra lane out of the existing road widths. And, if they are automated, it will eliminate the crazy drivers.

Maybe in the rest of the world cars will get smaller, but this is Alberta, truck country. It will be a few generations until people change.
