Anyone notice a common theme in those top 10 libraries, they are still primarily libraries.

Boy, what's with all the cranky old man sentiment here? Libraries need to evolve. Literature - in whatever form that may be - is still an important element, but it's not 1950 anymore. Libraries can't exist simply as buildings for books.

Despite the unsightliness of the stanley milner, the services and programming put on by the EPL is excellent and extremely valuable to the City.

It's not either or, we need both a solid traditional library and contemporary programming for families, youth, newcomers, students and others.

How about the GIANT octopus that was originally envisioned that was to have been in the SEC of this plaza with tentacles coming out of the ground in the landscaped section/east garden of Churchill and possibly further north.
