This is a bit of a quick update: good news and bad news.

The good news is that the crane has been dismantled for the first building!

The bad news is that the masonry (firewall) at the second building has collapsed. I knew it was going to happen because they hadn't fully framed the side of the firewall yet, and from what I see, it was anchored pretty well. However, having both sides exposed to weather elements, there's a huge risk. Well, today, the wind has been crazy, and it likely got caught onto the firewall and collapsed.

When did this happen. I haven't heard anything .

Who do I have to kill for it to include a mid-range community pub?

Likely the insurance industry, as small pubs are largely economically unviable.

On a related note, it looks like they're replacing the sidewalk along 106A Ave.

The two West buildings are coming along nicely. We stopped at Felice Cafe and it was PACKED with 20 something young professionals, a very different feel to the neighborhood from just a few years ago. I really love how this project along with the Stadium Station reno has improved our community.

This development continues to deliver, impress and give US hope that quality infill can succeed, does not need to be a tower and can really backstop existing communities and their infrastructure.

Exactly, and Stadium Yards isn't even that far away from the Quarters - just build 3 - 6 of these Rohit buildings 1.5 km directly southwest.

Seeing this and Edgewater side by side I have to say that Rohit has done a much better job than Brookfield did with their mid rises behind the towers.
