It only just occurred to me the newer design doesn't even seem to have Balconies. This is gonna end up pretty bland (but really affordable, i'd hope?)

Balcony usage rates are so incredibly low that it doesn't really matter to be honest. Neighbourhood parks that are walkable are more important.

When nearly every new apartment building is built with balconies, it's a notable omission when they're not included. And anecdotally most people I've known would "never live in an apartment without a balcony".

big fat disagree to this.

This outcome does not align to liveable cities, fresh air, etc. It matters a lot, and it is poor practice not to have balconies. Demand better!

Yes, great shots indeed! Thanks for including a picture of the rendering. It looks like balconies will be included for at least some of the residences. I hope I'm wrong, and all the units will have balconies.

As far as I understand that's an old rendering, from when they still intended to have CRUs on the ground floor too. Not sure why they still have it up.

You are right, the CRUs are gone. I posted the latest building elevations on Page 2 of this thread.

I really like that we're seeing more 6-storey "basic" multi-family buildings now, rather than 4 storey. Helps to give the city more of an urban feel.
