As someone who uses this station regularly, I have to say I have seen the safety/comfort improvements first hand. Our neighbourhood has seen an increase in folks who are on the street and yet the station is safer and feels more comfortable. It's also getting used more.

That being said, the glass shelter panels do get regularly broken, I would be curious to see just how much the city is paying in repair costs to keep replacing those.

Last I heard they're a few hundred bucks to replace + time and labour cost to repair/install them. Maybe it's time to look at smash proof or smash resistent alternatives. Likely more costly initially, but perhaps there's repair and maintenance cost savings over time to make up for it
