I know I've said it before and I'll shut up soon, but it really feels like a loss to me. I walked through the nearly-completed space a couple weeks ago and it feels pretty sterile. I liked the '80s Die Hard aesthetic of the previous iteration. Oh well.

I think the feeling of it will change once they fill the food court, but until then, yeah, it's pretty bland.

Well it might look better if there were people there and something was open. Hopefully that will happen soon.

IMO a few more tables would also be a good idea, I realize Rice Howard Place is not that full, but still.

I went there yesterday after I saw the picture and the trees look great with all the gold decorations. I wonder if it is an homage to the building's past colour.
