Only 2 projects of any note right now would suggest not enough work. However the Life cycle upgrades for St Albert Place have started. The new recreation centre is moving forward but slowly. Lots of development going forward on the west side of town. 7-8 story apartments. A burnt out building still sitting prominently along a major thoroughfare. Not much

I would say the East Village development in Erin Ridge would be a 3rd noteworthy project. Also not building related but sounds like Millennium park downtown St. Albert is moving closer to reality.

I think you'll see a few cranes in St. Albert when Cidex gets going along with Riverbank Landing.

Good point on Cidex. Looking forward to seeing what that is about though do wish it was more centrally located.

The Cidex one should be interesting. Tallest in that area right now are about 8 stories.

And the Shoring equipment is now gone. There was a stop work order last month. Apparently they are not to use Vibrating Panel shoring. Even though they installed about 1/2 of them.

St. Albert votes against $20.8M loan for Millennium Park project
St. Albert council has decided not to borrow more than $20 million for a new park that's seen considerable pushback from the community.
It's nice that people get to be reminded of this debacle every day with its prominent location. Embarrassing for the city. Also, yes, the "developer" is a joke...
