I thought that it was on one of the historical registers but maybe I am wrong (just because the last development proposal group included it in their concept).

I assume it wasn't the Massey-Ferguson Building that was sold but the vast parking lot behind it?

It appears to be on the Inventory of Historic Resources but without a protected status.

Interesting fact of the day, Greenspace and I (on behalf of DECL) worked on the original DC2 and part of the FAR/density negotiation was to preserve, update and incorporate the Massey Harris into the new development... which I am guessing will not happen now given its neglect, arson and new purchaser... but here's hoping.

Monsieur le @Gronk! is onto something once again -- if it is in fact 75,000 sq. ft. (150' x 500') then it would be just the area shaded in light orange below, not including the Massey Ferguson property

Nonetheless, it is still a sizable chunk of property that has real development potential; it sure would be interesting to know the buyer.

Devils Advocate here but the picture is shaded to include both the building and lot…..could have been an overzealous shader but……..

I'm not too knowledgeable on this as much, but would the fact it's a foreign buyer (German REIT) make it likelier that the property is developed or less?

The building in the shaded area is included -- but not the Massey Ferguson Site.
