I count 27 stories "done" above the 2 transition floors, which is how many there are beneath the cap section in the rendering on the project page. Does this mean they're now working on the ~3-storey top/mechanical section?

Edit: I guess the answer's "no", it looks like the main rendering is old, and shows extra hotel floors and not enough residential floors. Apparently there should be 32 residential floors, including the 2 amenity. So 3 more, as of Jan 5, and then 2 mechanical levels above that. 6 mixed use + 16 hotel + 32 residential + 2 mechanical = 56

What's with the window below where they are installing the railing? Looks good otherwise! :)

Edmonton's Ice District skates towards construction milestone
From Glen Scott's corner office on the 22nd floor of the Bell Tower, he has a front row seat to the progress in Edmonton's Ice District.

"As you can see we're inching along out there," said the president of Katz Group Real Estate.

Outside his window construction continues on a mixed-use skyscraper, which includes the new JW Marriott hotel and the residential condo part of the development above called Legends Residences, which is still being completed.

Scott says by the end of January or first week of February they hope to have a topping off ceremony for the skyscraper.

What a great change this has brought to Edmonton, after Ice District there is the Quarters redevelopment which in the long run will be larger than Ice District, and i am really excited to see what that brings!
