I went to Fennec a few days ago with friends and a bunch of them had the same comment -- i.e. surprise that you couldn't walk in through ECC.

Not a bad little spot otherwise, though.

I could be wrong, but I thought it was closed when they did the renovations on HSBC Place

Yes, it kind of diminishes the value of the building if you have to go outside to get in.

Don't disagree, though I doubt they will ever open it up again unless the mall is completely changed/revitalized. There's currently a second floor man door access for HSBC tenants only using a key card to go between
