Proposed rezoning and lane closure in Oliver

Residents are invited to an information session about a proposed rezoning and lane closure in the Oliver neighbourhood.

The application is to rezone 9918, 9922 and a portion of
9930 - 111 Street NW, from Direct Development Control Provision (DC1) to Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2).
This proposed site specific zone would permit the development of a 23 storey residential tower, with up to 178 residential dwelling units, within 200m of the Grandin LRT station. A portion of the access lane north of
9922 - 111 Street NW is proposed to be closed for the development. The Oliver Area Redevelopment Plan will also be amended to facilitate the proposed rezoning
The information session will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and provide feedback to the City and applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council before they make their decision on the rezoning.
