Phase 1 (Block B and C) of this project is near completion, interesting article regarding the height of wood structures in the first phase. Phase 2 (Block A) which will be St. Albert's first major tower is currently being planned and likely to begin relatively shortly, depending on sales of the first two buildings. Looks like the developer is integrating a lot of brick which will give it that "Brewery District" feel.

Hmmm.. I really hope this one happens. I definitely shows that Edmonton has strong metropolitan area not only statistically, but also visually :).

I did not know that. Thank you :)

My grandma gave me some of the newsletters she recently got?

Also, why do some developers like to flip downtown so its facing the wrong way in their renderings? Northlands 2020 did it too and it's kinda weird...

@Platinum107, it is just sloppiness, thinking that no one will notice. Personally, I prefer the renderings that do not put themselves in a City context, but, rather, look more internally to show what it is that they are precisely proposing. Very astute of you to pick up on these details!

@archited I agree. I would rather have a good view of the development itself rather than a rendering trying to cram the skyline in with it too!

The sales of the units seem to be going pretty good, so I'm really hoping they start construction on the first big tower soon .
