Any More Updats?
They've shut down for the day. Replacement crane assembly will continue tomorrow. 113 St remains closed north of 100 Ave for about 70m.Any More Updats?
Rather than being a two day road closure, it ended up being a 3.5 day closure - well, was open by about noon on the 4th day.The replacement cab has been installed. Crew boss thinks they will be done today. A few other photos b/c I was bored!

I had the same thought!Frankly it looks like it's from Soviet-era Belarus...
It was brought in because the previous crane extended too far over the neighbour's property and Westrich Pacific thought they wouldn't notice, and then tried to pretend that the neighbour had signed off on it.Love to colour/look. I wonder if it was brought to the area for this and future projects?
Yeah, and they exceeded their air rights by about 6m resulting in a stop work order after the neighbour called them on it.^it does not work like that. Crane swing and air rights are formally considered and approved.
Cooperation does go two ways. And this was entirely a problem of their own making. While I respect limitations, endeavour to assist is something foundational to ensure things function.
