Has the City begun to service part of the land in hopes of attracting investment? That was one of the obstacles as no one wanted to be first in and upfront the servicing costs. I know the City tax rate hasn't been helping either.

The latest document I could find is below. Seems like there has been a move to lots of medium industrial land. Other than a self storage facility, haven't heard of anything else confirmed. Would be interesting to know what is happening with the servicing.

Also in the area is the Alberta Railway Museum. Seems like not many know about this place but it is a gem. They have 75 locomotives and cars that you can clamber about.

That proposed river crossing will not happen anytime soon. Highway 15 bridge is not to far away.
