One more thing about the Loblaws: I asked when they hope to open, and they responded: "We have mid October 2022 as tentative opening time. pending on the construction status."

I hope that "Ice District Parking" sign is replaced with something...not so temporary. That looks bad to me.

You can tell that the underlying structure is to hang something for the tenants (grocery is my guess).

Does anyone know what is going on here. 103 Ave at the entrance to the plaza. Some type of utility work obviously. Not sure what the hold up is or when this will be finished and opened up. It has been like this for at least 3 or 4 months. Get on it and finish the work already.

Well thought out the way it helped show off Downtown Edmonton, being the main entrance to the Ice Plaza during the Stanley Cup playoffs when there are lots of out-of-towners in for the games.

At least Bob & Doug had a good view of what wasn't happening...

Nice to see the tables and stools set up in the plaza and a number of people sitting and enjoying their lunch today. Also National Bank set to open next week. Hopefully the first of many more. And sooner rather than later.
