Speaking of new tenancies, I saw what looks like clothing racks/shelving and a dozen or so pallets of boxes in the space beside the Zamboni garage. Could this be for the long awaited/rumoured Ice District Authentics store?

Are these retractable or a fixed in place visual eyesore the public must walk around?

They 'harden' the public square which is par for the course now and with the exception of the north and south ends are not retractable or removable I don't think.

That said they permit osmosis quite naturally.

It is called Ice District, so it would make sense to go for it.

If you are referring to the food hall on the 2nd floor of the Stantec Tower, I'm so glad they are finally moving forward with it.
